Reid Lifting has delivered 75 lightweight gantry cranes to Speedy Hire. The order for the gantries is predominantly for models with 2,000kg working load limits. The total order included 40 Tall Porta-Gantry cranes, 30 2,000kg-capacity Intermediate Porta-Gantry systems, and five 5,000kg-capacity Tall Porta-Gantry cranes. All were standard items but part of the new ‘winch ready’ range, which allows the operator to easily convert the gantries for use with the mechanical hoisting device. Lisa Blake, specialist services director at Speedy, said: “To satisfy our customer demand we have invested in the volume of innovative assets in this category. This particular investment has enabled us to spread the assets regionally, which gives us the ability to react quicker, providing on-time delivery to customers across the UK.” David Underhill, business development manager at Reid, said: “Reid has worked closely with the hire industry for many years and we are proud of our status as a key partner to major players in the sector. - Suche mit Platzhaltern
Mit Hilfe eines sogenannten Platzhalters [in diesem Fall ein "*"] kann man nach mehreren Suchbegriffen suchen, die den gleichen Wortanfang haben. Wird beispielsweise nach "Typo*" gesucht, dann findet die Suche alles, was mit Typo anfängt: Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user ... usw. - Negativsuche
Wenn man gewisse Ausdrücke nicht in seinem Suchergebnis vorfinden möchte, kann man dieses durch Voranstellen eines "-" bewirken. Beiträge, die diesen Begriff enthalten, werden aus dem Suchergebnis ausgeschlossen. - Suche nach Benutzern
Mit der neuen Suche ist es auch nun möglich, die Suchergebnisse auf Antworten bestimmter Benutzer einzugrenzen. Dazu hängt man an die Suchanfrage noch ein "user:benutzername" an und findet die Ergebnisse, die von diesem bestimmten Benutzer geschrieben wurden. Sollte es den Benutzernamen nicht geben, wird dieser Anhang nicht weiter beachtet.
